Navid Nuur: redblue, 2009

To mark the current exhibition by Iranian artist Navid Nuur at Parasol Unit, Pastronix come together to fill the space with sound, responding to the artwork and to each other.

Performing this time are Sam Fathi: drum, guitar: Armin Firouzabadi, vocals: Roshi Nashehi, collected domestic items /clarinet Fari Bradley.

Nuur says: ‘Many of my pieces begin with an object or an idea that irritates me.’ Neither sculpture nor installation, the work ranges from large objects to paper works of an archival nature. The only way into the 2nd room of the show is through a curtain of sandpaper.
